Barkarby Brokvarterets is a large-scale multifunctional development in the expanding Barkarby district of Stockholm, delivered for Mecon Bygg AB. At 24,000 m², it is one of Grey Gecko's most significant recent commissions in Sweden, requiring structural design of an extensive precast concrete frame across several interconnected building blocks.
The project involved BIM-based coordination with multiple design disciplines and phased design delivery to align with the contractor's construction programme. Grey Gecko managed the full structural package from preliminary design through to construction support.
