Elitseglaren in Linköping is, at 42,000 m², one of Grey Gecko's largest projects — a multifunctional residential development with NCC Sverige AB as main contractor. The structural design covered the precast concrete and steel frame of multiple residential buildings, with staircase and lift-shaft cores in reinforced concrete.
The frame was modelled in Tekla Structures and the structural model was exchanged as IFC for coordination with the architectural and MEP models. The buildings stand on driven concrete piles and have precast hollow-core floors.
