Peninglandet is an 18,000 m² multifunctional residential development in Stockholm, with Skanska Sverige AB as main contractor. Grey Gecko carried out the detailed structural design of the precast concrete and steel frame across multiple residential buildings, including staircase and lift-shaft cores in reinforced concrete.
The design ran from March to December 2020. The frame was modelled in Tekla Structures to fabrication level, and connection details were agreed with the precast manufacturer to suit production and erection. The buildings are founded on drilled piles and have precast hollow-core floors.
