Engineering Overview

Wiru Health Center is a major public health facility in Kohtla Järve, Estonia, constructed for Nordecon AS. The project involved full structural engineering of a precast concrete and steel frame combined with a cast-in-place concrete foundation system designed for challenging local soil conditions.

The health center presented complex structural requirements due to long clear spans for clinical spaces, heavy medical equipment loads, and strict vibration criteria for diagnostic areas. Grey Gecko delivered complete structural calculations, Tekla models, and workshop drawings coordinated with MEP and facade contractors.
