ZIEPNIEKKALNA IELA 29

Ziepniekkalna iela 29 in Rīga is the reconstruction of an existing industrial hall into a building with office, workshop and warehouse spaces. Grey Gecko worked for the steel fabricator 123 Industri SIA and turned the structural design into a fabrication-ready steel package.

Frames, roof trusses, columns, bracing, platforms, stairs and gratings were modelled in Tekla Structures around the existing structure and issued for five erection phases. Each package went out first as a material specification and IFC, then as assembly and part drawings; connections were agreed with the designer of record, and revisions were turned around while production and erection were already running.
